Before Risen 3: Titan Lords's official announcement, rumors persisted that the third installment in the Risen series was to be called Risen 3: Blazing Oceans. This was supposedly based on a Facebook post by the German multimedia firm Dluxe Media that stated it had scored a contract which involved the creation of the soundtrack for Risen 3: Blazing Oceans. Risen 3: Titan Lords received mixed reviews. The large scale of the world, variety of enemies, and varied environments was praised as well as various minor tweaks to game-play, but the game was panned for its lack of significant improvement over its predecessor. Particularly in the muddied graphics, re-used flawed combat from the second game, abundant glitches, frame rate drops, and screen tearing even in the most scripted and cinematic scenes. Killer Bits stated, "The muddled menus and leveling system as well as dull dialogue, voice acting, and characters left me feeling that Risen 3 has failed as an RPG." Dave Rudden of IGN expressed that Risen 3 can be a "swash-buckling adventure, but when it comes to its item and skill systems, it’s roughly as coherent as a rum-drunk buccaneer." and went on to say, "with a flat story that rarely deviates from expectations, you’re left with an experience that’s fun in spurts, but ultimately tedious and empty."

Ride to Hell: Retribution is an action-adventure video game published by Deep Silver, the game is set in the 1960s biker culture in the Western USA and is available for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Premise
Ride to Hell: Retribution takes place in 1969, telling the story of Jake, a Vietnam veteran and member of a family of bikers. Having come home to a changed country, Jake attempts to live a peaceful life with his uncle and brother. After the gang-related murder of his brother by a rival biker gang, Jake swears vengeance.The biker movement, the hippie counterculture, and rock music are referenced and used in an attempt to add to the game's atmosphere.
Production
Deep Silver Vienna used a movie style production model to develop this game together with Eutechnyx, a Gateshead based independent games studio, as well as several other contributors.
Through Eutechnyx, the story screenplay was written by Tom Smetham and cut scenes directed by Todd Eckert at Universal Studios, California. It was the first video game to be made on the lot and the first video game to be made on the world's first and only virtual stage, UVS1. The mocap team used in California were Knight Vision.
Cancellation
Originally announced in 2008[1] and due for release in 2009 according to an early trailer, various gaming websites such as IGN reported Ride to Hell as cancelled. The game was removed from Deep Silver's website.Development continued at Eutechnyx without the involvement of Deep Silver Vienna (which was closed down in early 2010) and the design was heavily revised, losing the open-world elements of the game and splitting it into several titles.
In February 2013 the game was classified R18+ by the Australian Classification Board signalling that the game may be headed for release. [3] In March 2013, the name of the game was thought to have been changed to "Cook's Mad Recipe", as indicated by another ACB classification with the same file number and numerous other details as the previous classification [1] but it later emerged that this name applied to downloadable content available for the game at launch.
Re-announcement
On 27 March 2013, the achievement list surfaced on Xbox360achievements.org, demonstrating that the game may not be far off release and hinting at gameplay and story elements. [2]On 4 April 2013 "Ride to Hell" resurfaced as three games sharing the same theme and branding.[3]"Ride to Hell: Retribution" on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC, a beat-em-up with a biker theme, released on June 25th 2013."Ride to Hell: Route 666" on PSN (PlayStation 3) and XBLA (Xbox 360), focusing on road combat, release date TBAand "Ride To Hell: Beatdown", aimed at mobile platforms, release date TBA.
